After
a press conference being held by interior minister Rehman Malik, all cellular companies in Pakistan are going to adopt new
procedure for sim selling. This new system is known as “Biometric System” being
implemented with help of “NADRA”.
During past few years after emergence of
terrorist attacks nationwide on public as well as governmental infrastructure,
a general thought created that easy availability of mobile Sims nationwide
facilitating terrorist to easy escape. No doubt this is true up to all extend,
and with help of 3rd generation technologies like “GPS” and internet facility terrorist
becoming aggressive in all potential manners.
While
cellular companies also provide a strong and helpful ground to terrorist to
misuse Sims.
For having stable market positioning against
operational competitors cellular joints use all unfair means. I personally
observed that how factitious sim ownerships have been made throughout all
marketing channels (Retailers, Franchises and individual outlets). In this game
of earning and profit all companies contributed well and, they did not think
for future of their valued customers. This whole thing was a big mistake and
non ethical practice, which now become a nightmare for all stock holders
weather they are internal customers (Employees and higher management,
Government itself), and for end users (public, customers).
Government
is now looking more concerned with pure and original sim selling, while if this
thing happened companies shares reduced and sales targets also decreases. After
implementing of biometric systems for sim selling and termination of Mobile number portability profit margins turns into
loose.
Although this whole reshaping of sim selling
also rewarded as better security and purity on subscriber level and crime ratio
also decreases.
But it’s a horrible truth for upcoming days
that how should cellular companies attain their market positioning and create
win win situation once again.
Who
should be our next leader? Have we some alternate choices?
Why
employees being harsh on work with unfair wages and late hour workings?
